Oh, yes it can. I’ve been working on this piece (of shit) for over a year now. I mean, when it comes down to it, I do really like it, and I think it’ll be fine once I get it done. But it’s like I sit down to write it and suddenly all of the bright ideas I had just fall out of my head. I’ve been writing it out of sequence, which I think helps because I get more done. So I have no clue how much I’ve actually written… all I know is, I must have a hundred or so handwritten pages of notes and outlines, none of which really get me anywhere. 

In other news, my dog is sleeping behind me.
